John Dubrow

Take a look at John's paintings- he works from direct observation, often setting up an easel outside with these large canvases!

Please notice these characteristics of his work:

• Clear use of SHAPES of COLOR and VALUE to describe the subject.

• Use of a LIMITED PALETTE of colors.

• Bold, thick layers of paint applied with brush and knives.
